This senior session was one of those that just felt easy from start to finish. We met up in late October and ended up with the kind of evening you hope for—great light, comfortable weather, and everything just falling into place.
We started inside the Wagnalls Memorial Library in Lithopolis, which is such a cool spot for photos—especially this year as it celebrates 100 years. Between the beautiful architecture and the grand piano, it was the perfect setting to highlight his talent. And not just for show—he’s an incredible piano player (I’ve seen the videos to prove it), so getting to photograph him in that environment made it all feel really genuine.
After that, we headed outside and found plenty of great spots around the library grounds. The fall colors were starting to come through, and it gave us a nice variety without even having to go far.
What made this session especially fun, though, was how relaxed it all felt. There was a lot of laughter, no pressure, and he made my job very easy. He’s one of those genuinely nice, down-to-earth people who you just enjoy being around.
I’ve actually known his family for years—his younger brother has played baseball with my youngest son for about a decade—so I’ve had the chance to watch him grow up. It’s a little hard to believe we’re already at the senior photo stage.
Wishing him all the best as he heads toward graduation and whatever comes next. I have no doubt he’s going to do great things.
