Most of the time I see this family, we’re all sweating through our clothes at a summer baseball game, sitting in the sun, wondering whose idea it was to schedule a doubleheader in July. So getting to meet up with them at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville in mid-October felt like a major upgrade.
Instead of blazing heat and dusty fields, we had cooler temps, calm paths, and leaves that were finally starting to show off some fall color—like autumn had been running a little late but decided to make an appearance right on time for photos. The timing worked out perfectly, giving us just enough color to bring that fall feel without overwhelming the scene.
It was really fun getting to see them outside of the baseball chaos. No lawn chairs, no snack stand lines—just a genuinely great-looking, easygoing family who somehow made this whole session look effortless.
These brothers have such a strong connection. You can tell they enjoy being together (even if it is for a fun activity like family photos), and everything felt natural and relaxed throughout the session. No over-the-top antics—just genuine smiles, easy moments, and a family that clearly enjoys being together.
And honestly, can we talk about how photogenic this crew is? I mean…they made my job very easy. Good light, great location, and a great-looking family—I’ll take it every time.
It also made it extra fun knowing their oldest is one of my son’s good friends—so I get to see him both on and off the field. Always a win when great clients are also great people!
