It’s not often you can get everyone’s schedules to line up once kids are grown… and somehow, this crew made it happen—which is no small feat. But it all came together perfectly for this session, and it was absolutely worth the wait.
We originally planned to meet in early June, but thanks to unpredictable weather (because of course this is Ohio), Mom made the call to reschedule for late September—and she nailed it. The evening couldn’t have been better.
We met at Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, which is always a favorite. Between the classic stone steps, textured stone walls, and tree-lined paths, it offers such a great mix of natural and timeless backdrops.
The last time I saw this family was a few years ago for their youngest son’s senior photos, so it was especially fun to see everyone again—and to see how life has grown and expanded since then. Now with adult sons (and a boyfriend and friend joining in), the dynamic made for such a relaxed, genuine session. Lots of laughter, easy interactions, and just a group of people who clearly enjoy being around each other.
And can we talk about how much these brothers look alike? It definitely would not take long to figure out who was related to who—same smiles, same features… just slightly different heights.
They kept their outfits simple and coordinated with neutral tones and denim, which worked perfectly for the setting and kept the focus on them.
Everyone made my job easy. No awkwardness, no overthinking—just natural smiles and good energy the whole time.
Such a great family, and I’m so glad we were able to make this happen.
