I’ve been photographing this crew for ten years now! I first met them when their oldest was a tiny newborn, and now here we are—three big personalities, still just as adorable and so much fun!
We met up in early November at Inniswood Metro Gardens for their annual mini session, right around sunset (my favorite time, even if it does require a little schedule juggling this time of year). As always, they showed up looking effortlessly put together—great colors, perfect coordination without looking too “matchy,” and kids who somehow manage to be both adorable and completely themselves.
One of my favorite things about photographing the same family year after year is getting to witness the dynamic between siblings evolve. These three have it all: the laughter, the “don’t stand so close to me” moments, followed immediately by a hug or a shared smile. It’s the kind of real-life connection you just want to capture.
The oldest has grown into such a calm, confident presence. The middle brings just the right amount of personality and humor. And the youngest? Still holding onto that sweet, expressive charm (with maybe a little bit of boss energy sneaking in). Together, they make my job pretty easy.
Sessions like this feel less like work and more like catching up with old friends—with a camera in hand, of course. It’s such a privilege to watch families grow over the years and to be trusted to document these stages along the way.
To this amazing family: thank you for inviting me back year after year. It truly means so much. I love seeing you all, capturing your connection, and yes—even the occasional sibling squabble. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
