Senior sessions that start on a football field and end at sunset in a park are always a win—especially when the senior is as easy to work with as Jake, Class of 2026.
We started at Bishop Hartley High School, which made perfect sense given that Jake is a football player there. Shooting on the field where he’s spent so much time brought a personal element you just can’t recreate anywhere else. These aren’t just photos—they’re tied to real memories, early mornings, Friday night lights, and everything in between.
Jake came prepared, too. He started in his #70 football uniform, which always looks great on the field, but more importantly, actually means something. Then he switched into Air Force gear, since that’s where he’s headed after graduation—and where he’ll continue playing football. That’s a pretty incredible next step, and it added a whole different layer to the session.
I have a lot of respect for that path. It takes commitment, discipline, and a willingness to take on something bigger than yourself. I’m genuinely grateful for his future service and wish him nothing but success—and safety—as he moves forward.
On a more local note, my own boys go to Bishop Hartley too, so there’s always a little added connection when I’m photographing someone they know. Jake’s reputation checks out—he’s just a genuinely nice kid, the kind you want to see do well.
After wrapping up at the field, we headed over to Jeffrey Mansion Park to catch the rest of the evening light. It’s a great spot for variety, and the timing worked out perfectly as the sun started to drop. Jake’s outfits were sharp and easy to transition between locations, which made the whole session flow without overthinking it.
And honestly, he made my job easy. Relaxed, cooperative, and—maybe most impressively—he didn’t even seem annoyed when I said “just one more” about 47 times. That alone deserves recognition.
Between the meaningful locations, the variety of looks, and Jake’s easygoing attitude, this session came together exactly how you hope it will. It’s always great to work with seniors who not only show up prepared, but also bring a sense of direction about what’s next.
Wishing Jake all the best as he heads toward graduation and beyond. He’s got a strong path ahead of him, and it’ll be exciting to see where it takes him.
