The D Family | Westerville Ohio Family Photographer

This is a family I’ve been lucky enough to photograph for years—ever since big sister turned one. I always look forward to seeing them again, and this year was no exception.

We met at Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, which continues to be one of my favorite locations year after year. Even in the fall, when the paths are buzzing with photographers and families soaking in the season, it never fails to deliver. The golden light filtering through the trees, the beautiful and well-kept gardens and the charming stone bridges create the perfect backdrop for timeless images. Somehow, even with the crowds, it always feels like we find our own great spots.

And then there’s this family—just as easygoing and fun as they are good-looking. The kids? Absolutely adorable. They laugh easily, smile big, and (at least when I’m holding a camera) get along beautifully. Whether that teamwork sticks around once they leave is up for debate—but I’ll take it!

Watching these two grow up over the years has been such a fun part of my job. Big sister, who I first met as a toddler, is just so beautiful and sweet, while her younger brother brings cuteness and charm to every shot. Together, they create that perfect sibling dynamic that makes sessions both fun and full of personality. They make my job so easy!

I feel incredibly grateful that they have trusted me with their family’s memories all these years. Being invited back again and again is the best kind of compliment, and I love getting to see how their story continues to grow.
